NCEP GFS
Model information:
Numerical weather model owned by the NCEP. It has a range of 384 hours (16 days) offering hourly data up to 120 hours and thereafter data every 3 hours. Its spatial resolution is 0.25º (~ 25 km). It is updated 4 times a day: 00, 06 12 and 18 UTC.
ECMWF HRES
Model information:
Private weather numerical model owned by the ECMWF. It has a range of 240 hours (10 days). The data are hourly up to 90 hours, 3-hourly up to 144 hours and 6-hourly up to 240 hours. Its resolution is 0.1º (~ 11 km). In its free version it offers data every 24 hours and its resolution is 0.5º. It is updated twice a day (00 and 12 UTC) completely and 4 times a day (00. 06, 12 and 18 UTC) for the first 90 hour intervals.
CMC GDPS
Model information:
Numerical weather model owned by the CMC. It has a range of 240 hours (10 days). The data is every three hours and is initialized twice a day (00 and 12 UTC). It has a resolution of 0.15º (~ 15 km).
